Content Snippet Manager Free allows you to create and manage unlimited numbers of HTML snippets and WordPress shortcodes.

You will be able to choose the position and the destination of each snippet.

For example, you may need to insert an Adsense banner or a subscription newsletter shortcode at the middle of all posts, you can do it using our plugin, without being forced to edit manually each WordPress post.

Important: Javascript code, conversion script or custom css codes are not allowed on the free version, they will be removed from the WordPress editor

Please follow these step to configurate properly a new snippet.

1. Go to the plugin settings and open the Snippet Generator tab
2. Click on New snippet to generate a new snippet

Below are a list of all available options:

Main options

– Snippet name, the name of the current snippet
– Snippet position, the position of the current snippet.
– – Post Excerpt, that means that the snippet will be added on the WordPress excerpt.
– – – After how many characters, that means that the snippet will be added before, after or at specific position of the WordPress excerpt, don’t worry our system avoid to break the post excerpt.
– – Post Content, that means that the snippet will be added on the WordPress content.
– – – After how many paragraphs, that means that the snippet will be added before, after or at specific position of the WordPress content, don’t worry our system avoid to break the post content.
– Homepage, that means that the snippet will be added on homepage, when it displays your latest posts.
– Search , that means that the snippet will be added on search result pages.
– Whole website , that means that the snippet will be added inside all posts, pages, custom posts, categories, tags and custom taxonomies, except the homepage and the search result pages.

Custom posts type

For each snippet you can include or exclude specific custom posts type, on the free version you can choose between posts, pages and WooCommerce products.

– Custom post match value , that means that you can decide if include or exclude specific custom post types.
– – Include these items , that means that the snippet will be added inside only the chosen custom post types, you can also type [all] or [All] to include all items.
– – Exclude these items , that means that the snippet will be added inside all custom post types, except the chosen custom post types.

Custom taxonomies

For each snippet you can include or exclude specific taxonomies or categorie, on the free version you can choose between WordPress categories and tags, WooCommerce categories.

Note that, from this section you can’t include or exclude all custom post types from a specific category or taxonomy.

– Custom post match value , that means that you can decide if include or exclude specific custom post types.
– – Include these items , that means that the snippet will be added inside only the chosen custom post types, you can also type [all] or [All] to include all items.
– – Exclude these items , that means that the snippet will be added inside all custom post types, except the chosen custom post types.

– Content snippet , a visual editor where you can put the HTML or WordPress shortcode.
